Jennifer Kennebeck, mba, rhia, ccs, ccs-p

Jenny is the Principal and Owner of Mission RCM. Her background includes coding management Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJC HealthCare) and as Vice-President of Coding Operations and Consulting for G2N, Inc., both in St. Louis. She was a charter member of the first BJC Revenue Cycle team during the implementation of the OPPS.

She has provided facilities large and small with the support needed to keep them viable in the continually changing healthcare landscape. HIM operations, revenue cycle management and specialty documentation, charge capture and billing education are just a few of the areas in which she is proficient. Use of Electronic Health Records has created a new challenge for providers to ensure documentation supports the billing and coding submitted to insurance companies and Medicare - Jenny has a special interest in assisting with the build and implementation of EHRs.

Jenny holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management from Saint Louis University and an MBA from Fontbonne University. She is credentialed by the American Health Information Management Association as an RHIA, CCS and CCS-P. She is also an AHIMA-approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer. In addition to being a member, Jenny has served on the Boards of eMHIMA and MOHIMA, and also belongs to the Health Care Compliance Association.
